Welcome GFY Listeners!

We’ve got some amazing and hysterical radio for you to hear!

Hi friends,

David Koff here, the Artistic Director of Fake Radio. Listen…

If you love the host of GFY, J. Keith van Straaten - and I certainly do to the very limit that the law allows - then you might like to know this fun little fact: J. Keith guest stars in our unique and truly funny live radio performances from time to time.

Go fact THAT!

We’re Fake Radio: America’s premier old-time-radio comedy troupe.

Since 2001, we’ve been reenacting actual radio broadcasts from the 1940's & 1950's with some of Hollywood's brightest stars before live audiences. We perform in Los Angeles, CA and Portland, OR with more cities to come in the near future!

Our live shows include recreating the original broadcast of hit radio shows from “The Golden Age” along with all of the original (and often uncomfortable) commercials! We add a liberal dose of improvisation to help keep our live audiences on their toes.

I’ll wager that you’ll really enjoy our previously recorded shows almost just a much, so give them a listen right here, guys n’ gals.

Sign up here to join our mailing list and get advanced word when our tickets go on sale. Click on the links at the bottom this page to visit our social media sites.

And if you’d like to purchase tix for our December 7th & 8th shows in Portland, OR: click here or on our fabulous show poster.

Two Nights Only:

Our annual holiday tradition continues! The original 1947 Lux Radio Theater’s broadcast of “It’s a Wonderful Life” comes to life in the most hysterical way possible.
